The purpose of Primary 1 Lesson 10: I Am Thankful for Trees, Plants, and Flowers is to feel gratitude to Heavenly Father and Jesus for the trees, plants, and flowers.

Use this I Am Thankful for Trees, Plants, and Flowers File Folder Game from Kimberly Bourne Designs. You can use it as you teach your lesson or make one for each child to take home.
Bring a bouquet of different kinds of flowers and send one flower home with each child. Try to teach the children some of the names of the flowers.

Finish the scene handouts- One for flowers and one for a tree. Make it fun by gluing on Fruit Loops as the flowers and real leaves to the tree (go on a walk outside together if it's nice).
Seed packet envelope- Add a seed or two to this envelope for the children to go home and plant. You could also use it to put treasures in as you go on a walk and discover plants, flowers, and trees.
