Most Loved LDS Movie of All
Once I Was a Beehive is by far and away the favorite and I agree with you. It's full of humor, insights, and boosts your own testimony in the process. Lane Speer is a 16 year old girl dealing with the loss of her father when she somehow gets roped into attending a LDS girls camp with her new Beehive cousin. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and even cringe. Don't miss it! You can watch now on Netflix but I recommend buying Once I Was a Beehive- it's the kind of movie worth supporting.
Other Top Loved Movies
Meet the Mormons examines the diverse lives of 6 devout members of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My favorite is always the Candy Bomber. You can watch it on Netflix and even LDS.org or buy it here and give a copy to a friend. Want to meet some more Mormons? Check out all these amazing members.
This film depicts events from the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament and the Book of Mormon, ending in a portrayal of the resurrected Savior’s visit to the ancient Americas as seen through the eyes of a fictional family. Buy The Testaments here.
On May 9, 1986 everyone inside a small town elementary school was held hostage for several hours before a bomb was detonated inside the classroom that held everyone. Don't miss out on this miracle filled story (based on true events)- buy The Cokeville Miracle here or buy and sell it back with Vidangel.
Six Liberian missionaries in Monrovia are caught in the middle of a brutal civil war. They must make the difficult journey to Freetown, Sierra Leone only to have their troubles compounded by a rebel fighter bent on killing one of their own. You can watch this if you have a Starz subscription, Vidangel, or buy Freetown here.
Your Turn- What's your favorite LDS themed movie? If it gets enough votes, I'll add it to the list.
