Lesson

Primary 2 Lesson 29: I Can Be a Good Example- The purpose of this lesson is to encourage each other to shine our lights as followers of Jesus.

This is a great lesson to remind us how our examples are influencing others. Last week in sacrament meeting we had someone that came to visit who lived in our ward 10 years ago. It was through righteous examples of those she played with, her neighbors, and others that she decided to join the church. She discovered the book when she was 13 but had to wait until she was 18 to be baptized. During those 5 years she stayed strong thanks to good friends and leaders. She eventually was allowed to attend Sunday meetings once every 3 weeks, however, she came whenever she could to the other activities and was able to still earn her Personal Progress award. What a huge effect others had on her and she on them.
